OWHN Africa is an initiative for Water Accessibility, Training Enhancement, and Research (WATER).
Objectives
- Promote the understanding of water’s prime place in sustainable health, economic growth and social development
- Reach out to communities/groups and train the members on water
testing in rural environments for disease control
- Help in providing safe water to rural communities and
marginalized groups in sub-Saharan Africa
- Contribute in advancing knowledge and developing capacity in the
water, environment and public health nexuses
- Collaborate with relevant organizations/institutions/groups in response to various water-related challenges and frontiers
